About the Programme
Urban Innovators Training Programme is a unique learning opportunity jointly designed by universities, enterprises, social initiatives and public administrations across Europe – all experts in urban planning and regeneration.
This programme is multidisciplinary, practice-based and case-oriented. It aims to train Urban Innovators able to manage the transformation of urban spaces. The learning process will be structured around four Urban Living Labs, each based in one of the major European cities: Amsterdam, Venice, Timisoara and Bilbao.

Who can apply?
Urban Innovators Training Programme is open for both young professionals active in urban disciplines and students engaged in the relevant programme. This programme is suited for Master students, graduates, Bachelor graduates and students towards the end of their degree programme.
It is also open to anyone working in the sector of urban, cultural and creative innovation with focus on a territorial approach and social justice.
DISCLAIMER! As we will be working in four National Clusters – Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Romania – we expect participants of the Programme to be based in one of these countries.
Application process
Application round: Between 9 June – 16 September, 2022. For Italy, the application round will close on 2 Sep, 2022.
Interviews with selected candidates, evaluation and notification: Between 16-21 September, 2022
Start of the Programme: 30 September, 2022.

DISCLAIMER#2: It is mandatory to apply to one of the four National Clusters (Italy, Romania, Spain, The Netherlands) in order to attend the programme. You are free to apply to any cluster you prefer, regardless of nationality, on the condition of being fluent in the local language, as the training will be partially in English and partially in one of the four native languages (Dutch, Italian, Romanian, Spanish), in particular in the Urban Living Labs activities.

To apply, applicants should send the following documents, latest by 16 September, 2022, for Dutch, Spanish and Romanian Clusters. Italian Cluster will close application round on 2 Sep, 2022.
- Full Curriculum Vitae in English
- Motivation letter in English expressing the motivations to attend the EUREKA training path
Please send the documents in a single file in PDF format. The document should be named “Eureka2022-Applicant’s surname.pdf”. The subject line of the application email should be formatted as follows: “Eureka2022-Applicant’s surname”.

Evaluation criteria and minimum requirements
Each Cluster will select around 10-15 participants for the Urban Innovators Training Programme.
The selection of participants will be based on the following criteria:
- Personal motivation and availability to attend the training
- Consistency of the educational/professional path with the contents of the course
- English proficiency
Important: Students who want to participate in the programme, should at least be enrolled in the last year of bachelor courses, or be in master course or graduated from bachelor or master.
Tuition Fees
The total cost of the Training is 7000 EUR per student.
However, for the 2022-2023 intake, the EUREKA project offers a full scholarship covering the whole costs of tuition for attending students.
Students will have to cover their own travel and housing expenses for international and national modules on the field.
Attendance requirements
In order to receive a final certificate of attendance, students are required to attend at least 70% of the total training days.
The certificate of attendance will include the Transcript of records with number of hours, thematic modules, faculty, involved partners and organizations.
